INFELD HOUSE OF CULTURE TURNS 25

The Infeld House of Culture in Halbturn is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. In 2000, Peter Infeld transformed the Jägerhaus in Halbturn Castle into a meeting place for international and local artists and musicians. In the course of a quarter of a century, nearly 100 free concerts and as many exhibitions have taken place here.

British musician Donovan, Hungarian violinist Roby Lakatos, Austrian great names such as Harri Stojka, Rudi Berger, Toni Stricker and many other world-renowned and respected musicians have performed here. Well-known contemporary artists such as Anton Lehmden, Ernst Fuchs, Arik Brauer, Hans Staudacher, Alfred Hrdlicka, Eduard Angeli and Walter Schmögner have exhibited in Halbturn.

From 8 March to 8 December 2025, the exhibition 'Architectural Portraits' at the Infeld House of Culture will show impressive depictions of buildings. From contemporary Austrian artists to Art Brut, the presentation reflects the variety of the Infeld Collection.
